Marketing Communications Manager Wanted - Could this be you?

Job Title: FESPA Marketing and Communications Manager

Based at: FESPA – 7a West Street, Reigate, Surrey, UK RH2 9BL

Reporting to: FESPA Event Director & Communications Director

About the Role: FESPA’s recent astronomical growth has resulted in the need for an experienced, proven and inspirational marketing person to join the team.

This newly created dual role position includes responsibilities of delivering high quality visitors to shows in Asia as well as reaching sales and marketing targets for FESPA products. These products include the acclaimed FESPA “Sensations” book, the Wide Survey project, FESPA’s e-learning screen printing course and the newly launched Fespa.com.

Working alongside the Group Marketing Manager for exhibitions and with the support of a dedicated marketing executive, this role is designed to provide the team with added resources to support the growing portfolio of international events and to plan and execute a cohesive marketing campaign to continue to position FESPA as a leading brand in global imaging.

About FESPA: FESPA is a unique organisation. FESPA runs the market leading exhibitions in the imaging industry. This success enables a significant reinvestment back into the industry. FESPA has a community of over 50,000 printers in 130 countries worldwide.

This role will be instrumental in pulling this community together to network, share ideas and continue to engage with the FESPA brand at shows, online, through our magazine FESPA World and at conferences, forums and events throughout the world.

FESPA is a not-for-profit federation of trade associations and an organiser of exhibitions and conferences for the screen and digital printing industries. FESPA’s dual aim is to promote screen printing and digital imaging and to share knowledge about screen and digital printing with its members across the world, helping them to grow their businesses and learn about the latest developments in their fast growing industries.

FESPA member organisations include 28 separate National Associations in Europe, and 6 Associate Member Associations in Australia, China, Thailand, India, Japan and Korea.

About the market: The European screen and digital printing markets are valued at 26 Billion euros. The growth potential has arisen from new digital printing technologies. This thirst for innovation has driven huge growth at FESPA exhibitions and the stunning success with our European events has inspired the launch of FESPA India, FESPA Digital, FESPA Asia Pacific, FESPA Summits and FESPA Forums.

How do you get exhibitors to follow up their leads?

Having worked for a large exhibition organiser, I know that many exhibitors simply do not follow up their leads. An Interview with the New Executive Director for the Green Meeting Industry Council

"Sustainability is our vision. Corporate responsibility is our obligation. Green Meetings are our strategy." That’s how my interview with Tamara Kennedy-Hill, the new Executive Director of the Green Meeting Industry Council (GMIC) ended. That, and: “Profit is good—but it’s also about the environment and your impact on the community. Have you left the community you were in better off or worse off?” That is the way to define the movement to build sustainable events. It is about more than the pl… Continue
