I've just seen the Seth Godin TED talk from February where he discusses the "power to change the world" coming from a tribe culture rather than a factory or money culture. He has some really interesting insights well worth checking out if you're in the events industry (which presumably pertains to those on Event Crowd). What's the point? You may not be able to create a community, but you sure as hell can lead the community and then the community will carry your message for you.
