Unfortunately I have had no enquiries for this particular event so far. I dont think the recent financial climate has helped. I have had a number of cancellations from companies going into administration (including Woolworths)

Most exhibitors book trade show magicians through agents only, despite the additional cost. It is a combination of the presence of a legal contract, (So they can get their money back if things dont go according to plan) Lazyness (They dont have to phone around for quotes) and ultimate deniability (if the performer fails to turn up there is someone else to blame). Not that I have ever failed to turn up at an event of course. Sadly it has very little to do with the magicians ability. In other words if you are in with the right agent you will get the job if not you wont even get an opportunity to quote.

I am however still available for tomorrow if anyone wants to make me a last minute "silly offer"

Others preferred to sign up a bit later so we have send invites to approx. 200 other individuals. We are hoping to see the number of members rise by next week, fingers crossed. All in all it was great and hopefully we should meet that target very soon :)
